I made a security blanket for Noelle and Dana....... and bought one for Jo after receiving Noelle's address and her reply to how she felt about the way I treated you, I sent to Dana. I am just now copying it to you in case you ever check your mail. hmmmmmm I think I'll copy Tyler on it as well, maybe he checks his email and can give it to you.

I've always tried to be honest w/you Al so as to help you understand your impact on people's lives....... and then this from Noelle? It made me sad that she was so willing to blame me for everything without getting my side?

I ask Al to send me my stuff before I left and then again when I talked to him on the phone. I told him to get a price and I would send him the money???? He told me not to worry that he would bring it at Christmas time and never even looked into sending it as he always has to do things his way. I would have paid up to 500$ but nope, he had to control the situation.

Do you know how many lies your father told me before he finally got rid of me? He lied even when he didn't have to. He lied to Ida and Brad about him getting me here as early as possible. There was only one bus out of Colorado Springs and it was at 9:35 in the morning and he didn't have to lie but he did. (The lie made him out to be a good guy.) OMG!!!

I'm only sad that your mom lived with this for so many years and missed so much of life by being controlled in this situation.

I had written a note to one of my friends before I left your mom's house that my son in law needed an intervention and as God would have it, I was the intervention. He seemed to be waking up a bit but now think he's probably gone back to his old ways. After all, after disowning you to me, he now has you on his side. There aren't any sides, Noelle, when people we love are involved and I never meant to hurt your dad.

It's all I have in the world but after messaging with Noelle, I don't think he'll bring it to me. A lot of it is stuff that Chloe and Connor and I did together, and a lot of it is very precious to me. hmmmmmmm, I guess that doesn't mean a damn thing to anybody but me as you never called or asked about me. (Maybe you did and your dad simply didn't tell me. He did show me some videos and photos) That hurt when there was a photo of you and Patsy and Jo and Patsy's mom on the frig even before I ever met Jo? hmmmmmm

Do you realize the hornets nest that I got myself into when I moved in with your dad? Yes, it was good of him to offer me a place but he used it every which way he could to get his way. I can almost guarantee you that he didn't spend any more money with me there than had I not been there. Ask him. I even used a wash cloth to wipe myself when I refused to ask him for anything.

I loved living with Chloe and Connor and appreciated the fact that I had influence on their lives. Before I left, they seemed to be doing pretty good.

I wonder what 'Family' means to people?

Who's definition of family are you thinking, Noelle? hmmmmmmm, and I've been oh so mean to your father?

Do you know in all the years I've known your father I have never seen him kiss or hug your mom?

Do you know your mom told me when I moved in with 'your' family that Connor was scared to death of his daddy? hmmmmmmmmmmm

Did you know that your mom and dad lived with me in San Jose when you were first born and again after Tyler's birth? hmmmmmm, isn't that funny that your dad doesn't remember that?

Did you know that before I ever moved in with your 'family' your dad sold my Jaguar? Did you know that he told me he sold the car for 2500$........ Low blue book was 4500$ (I looked it up) and he even finally admitted he pocketed some of the money. hmmmmmm, good way to treat family, eh?

Did you know that Brad had to pay your father a pretty penny for driving the moving van over the grapevine when Brad and his 'Family' moved back to California? hmmmmmmm, and only then after your mother had to beg him to do it? ........and then your father acts like he did all of us a great big favor? Thinking back on it, Brad says that he paid your dad 1,000$. hmmmmmmm, good way to treat family eh?

Do you know that when your grandma Patsy was visiting in Colorado she warned me that Dana should stay away from Al because she wasn't sure what he would do because of his temper?

Did you know that when we first got to Colorado I had 2,500$ and your dad simply walked into my room and demanded 1,500 of it and I gave it to him? This after I asked your father to send Brad and Ida 1,000$ cause they were in deep financial trouble. hmmmmmmmm, and come to find out, when I moved in with Brad and Ida, he kept the money and Brad and Ida never got it? hmmmmmmmm, 2,500$? hmmmmmmm good way to treat family, eh?

Did you know that Connor went into dissociation after seeing your father abuse Sadie, choking her and throwing her out the door? hmmmmmmmm, great way to treat the family. (I stepped in and tried to soothe the ruffled feathers of your dad.)

Did you know, after I broke my arm your dad (his words) beat Gracie so bad he didn't expect Gracie to live?

Did you know that Chloe saw Alfred hang Bella up by the throat and beat her and Chloe dissociated and cried in my arms?

Did you know that Tyler moved over to your mom's for 3 days after your father threatened him as Tyler was afraid of your father's rage?

I talked to Tyler the day he came home to pick up more clothes and talked him into coming back and trying to help me teach your dad about love.

Did you know once when I overheard your dad say something about 'killing her', I asked if he was talking about Kim and he said NO, he was talking about Dana and how it would be very easy to have it done. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, great way to treat my family, eh?

Did you know that once, when you and Tyler were very little and I was in the car with your dad, mom and you two, that your dad pulled right in front of a tanker truck filled with gas? We could have been killed as the truck barely missed us? Great way to treat family, eh?

Did you know when you were a little bitty baby (maybe 2 months) your dad used to throw you up in the air and your hair actually touched the ceiling. hmmmmmmmmm, great way to treat family, eh?
I finally took your mother aside and told her unless she told him to stop, and something ever happened to you, I would press charges?

Did you know that last time your grandmother Patsy was visiting she was in tears because I talked to her a lot about what I've just shared. She had hung those family pictures and said she just simply did it. Did you know that if your mother or I had done it, your father would rage and probably have broken each and every one? Patsy seemed to understand.

Did you know that your mom and dad and Patsy all wanted me to get my Social Security. Your mom wanted it to help me be independent and your dad wanted me to get it so he could have it?

Did you know that one day your dad was playing one of his head games and sent Chloe into my room and tell me he had no money and that he wanted to take the kids for a treat. (I had 2 of SS checks and he knew it.) I gave Chloe 7$ in change and I found the change after they left. After that he had Chloe pick up the change all over the house and put in on the counter in the kitchen for him. (I'm sure he didn't want the change to use, he just wanted to control every penny.)

Did you know I talked to Lesley Chambers and she said she never told your dad she would move in with him. hmmmmmmmmm, I visited her home and her home was way nice and she seemed very happy. Did you know that Lesley said she had blocked your father from her daughter's Facebook. hmmmmmmmmmm way to treat people, eh? Oh, yeah, btw, your dad told ME that Lesley was going to leave her husband and bring her 4 kids and move in with him. You know me, I don't lie and he really did tell me that. I think he was trying to torment me with Lesley the same way he always tormented your mom with her. hmmmmmmm, way to treat MY 'Family', ey?

According to them, they saw my resume online and decided that I was perfect. This is only a 2-4 hour commitment and I can earn big bucks. All I have to do is give them a bunch of personal information... like my bank account information so they can "deposit funds".

NO body is going to email any of us over and over again to get us to come to work for them so they can pay us lots of money to do very little work. Really.

Well, the situation developing at Hermes International, following the daring market raid by the Wolf in the cashmere coat, bears something of a resemblance to the short squeeze that developed in the German carmaker two years ago.

Here’s why.

Once the LVMH takes delivery of its 17 per cent stake, the free float of Hermes will drop to around 8 per cent. To put that figure in perspective the short position in Hermes International is reckoned to be around 7 per cent, according to traders.

Add into the mix the possibility that the call options used by LVMH to buy around 6 per cent of Hermes were not fully hedged and everything is in place for a big squeeze higher.

Meanwhile, LVMH has issued a statement about its stake building activities in Hermes. And everything has been done everything to the letter of the law.

Following its announcement on Saturday 23 October concerning the holding in Hermes International, LVMH confirms that it is fully compliant with French stock exchange regulations, notably those concerning the disclosure requirements on crossing shareholding thresholds. LVMH will file the appropriate notifications within the timeframe laid down by the French markets regulator, the AMF (L’Autorité des marches financiers).

Its most spectacular operation of was March 20, 2002 raid 19 interrelated business and non-profit entities in Herndon, VA associated with an umbrella corporation known as the SAAR Foundation. No arrests were made and no organizations were shut down, but over 500 boxes of files and computer files were confiscated, filling seven trucks. Finding no incriminating evidence, much of the confiscated material has been returned.

The raid would raise concerns of unfair persecution within the American Muslim community,[2] leading to an April 4, 2002 meeting in which several notable Muslim figures, including Palestinian-American financier and Republican organizer Talat M. Othman and Islamic Institute head Khaled Saffuri were received by Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill as representatives of the Muslim-American community, and to voice complaints about the raid.

On December 17, 2001, eleven months after Safavian's departure, Janus resubmitted its disclosure forms. This time the name of Alamoudi had been replaced by the name of Dr. Jamal al Barzinji, who is also notable as a vice president of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).[citation needed] Norquist has refused to release tax records of the firm for the period during which he and Safavian owned the company.[citation needed]

Safavian told the Senate that al Barzinji, not Alamoudi, was his client. "Al Barzinji," he said, "should have been listed as the client retaining the firm for work related to Malaysian political prisoner Anwar Ibrahim," referring to the deposed prime minister of Malaysia, who also was a co-founder of the IIIT.[citation needed] In fact, Barzinji had been listed as a contact, not a client, on all the disclosure forms.[citation needed]

On March 20, 2002, Barzinji's home was raided by a federal task force investigating terrorist finances. A federal affidavit identifies Barzinji as the ringleader of a group suspected of aiding terrorists.[1]

At least one of the co-registrants with Alamoudi in his services on behalf of Norquist's Islamic Institute, Palestine-born Omar Nashashibi, went to work for Williams Mullen, serving as its director of government affairs.[3]

Halloween is the devils holiday

So, in the Christian community, there are two viewpoints on the observance of Halloween. One side celebrates it as the early church intended: Part of a celebration of saints, dead and living. They turn the negative association of death and evil into a positive of eternal life and good. Then there’s the side that sees Halloween for its pagan roots, with its preoccupation with death, evil, occult symbols and witchcraft – things the faithful should have no part of.

As a holiday, Halloween has blended and meshed with many beliefs and customs of different European and Native American ethnic groups until the spiritual – good and otherwise – significance is lost. Commercialization of the holiday has further reduced it to a night to dress up in costumes and solicit candy from neighbors. But many of the faithful recall the origins and/or reason for Halloween, celebrate or denounce it accordingly. Whether one sees it as a celebration of saints, dead and living, or an abomination depends largely on point of view and personal convictions.

Utopian socialism is a term used to define the first currents of modern socialist thought. It is distinguished from later socialist thought by being based on idealism instead of materialism. Although it is technically possible for any set of ideas or any person living at any time in history to be a utopian socialist, the term is most often applied to those socialists who lived in the first quarter of the 19th century who were ascribed the label "utopian" by later socialists to convey negative attitudes and naivete to dismiss their ideas as fanciful or unrealistic.[1]

From the mid-19th century onwards, the other branches of socialism, most notably Marxism and scientific socialism, overtook utopian socialism in terms of intellectual development and number of adherents. Utopian socialists were important in the formation of modern movements for intentional community, cooperatives, and meritocracy.

Religious sects whose members live communally, such as the Hutterites, for example, are not usually called "utopian socialists", although their way of living is a prime example. They have been categorized as religious socialists by some. Likewise, intentional communities based on socialist ideas could also be categorized as "utopian socialist".

Scientific Socialism
EXCERPT:
Third, we are in a pre-mass movement period. Although transformational politics is not on the table, we are in a period where a small number of new activists are asking the questions of new strategies and tactics for change. A pre-mass movement period is a period of emerging mass movement and institutions which are assisting in the development of people’s consciousness. The mass anti-war movements in the US and the national liberation movements in Lebanon, Palestine and other places around the world are developing a new generation of activists. However, the left is fragmented, marginalized and politically undeveloped. Many on the left are divided by old ideological and personal lines which have made it difficult for a broad united front to emerge. Moreover, the political collapsed of the left has created a political vacuum that was filled by post-modernism, anarchism and fundamentalism. Post Modernism have contributed to the notion of including race, gender and all other oppressed peoples’ ideals to the table. Feminism has expanded the class analysis and strategy as a result of Post Modernism thinking. However, the limit of post-modernism is the absence of transformative politics where “live with your time, adapt to it, and manage each day” [4]is the primary form of struggle. Also, Post Modernism raises human discourse to the highest level of engagement but suspect objective reality. Throughout the nineties anarchism was leading struggles against WTO, free trade, and the globalization process of capitalism. Also, the traditional Marxist left formations were in a state of declined but anarchists were on the front line against the expansion of globalization. The Zapatista movement was a shinning example for the anarchist theory and practice. However, anarchist anti-authoritarianism position made it difficult to overcome the problem of lack of leadership development, organizational liberalism and white supremacy. Islamic Fundamentalism is principally waging a fierce battle with imperialism in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and other places around the world. However, the fundamentalist are not primarily interested in knowing why things have been and are what they are. What interests them more is to know how things have moved away from principles. [5]

Why is scientific socialism critical at this time? One, the working class and oppressed people needs the theory of scientific socialism to pursue as a science, but also we live in new and different times. The development in social science (human social relations), racism, sexism, heterosexism, general science, technology, information-age, and imperialist hegemony demand the study and pursuit of all these issues as a science in order to complete scientific socialism today.

The sexual politics of utopian socialism

Charles Fourier, Utopian socialist who coined the word feminism in 1837 and defended same-sex sexuality.The first currents of modern socialist thought are now often described with the phrase utopian socialism. Gender and sexuality were significant concerns for many of the leading thinkers, such as Charles Fourier and Henri de Saint-Simon in France and Robert Owen in Britain, as well as their followers, many of whom were women. For Fourier, for example, true freedom could only occur without masters, without the ethos of work, and without suppressing passions; the suppression of passions is not only destructive to the individual, but to society as a whole. Writing before the advent of the term "homosexuality", Fourier recognised that both men and women have a wide range of sexual needs and preferences which may change throughout their lives, including same-sex sexuality and androgénité. He argued that all sexual expressions should be enjoyed as long as people are not abused, and that "affirming one's difference" can actually enhance social integration.[2]

MONTHLY FEATURE:
Empaths & "Energy Padding."

It happens to empaths every day.

Other people will either give or take our energy from us. It's inevitable as breathing.

Energy exchange happens in every interaction in the world. More often than not,
empaths are the ones who become drained.

An important first step in being a skilled empath is to learn to quiet your mind
so that you can have awareness of when people infringe on your energy. There's
a famous story that tells of how Jesus knew when someone had tugged on his robe
and therefore pulled some energy from him. As empaths, we also get people tugging
at us, asking for our energetic help. We must be like all the great spiritual masters and become aware of when these dynamics are at play. Only then we can take steps to preserve our energy, primarily through the act of saying no.

Our second primary task is to make our energy fields (auras) bigger than they have
ever been before. We do this through ritual practices that keep the chakras open
and allow us to take in more Light energy. When we have a larger spiritual "mass"
(e.g. a larger aura that can hold more Light), then when other people do take from
us, it won't harm us as much. Make it your goal to have a little extra energy "padding."
It's like wearing an energy coat that extends, say, 15 feet all around us, made
of pure light.

Empaths are warriors in the spiritual realm. Our weapon is Light.

As an empath, you have a choice. You can let others overtake you with their lower
vibration. Or you can overtake them with your high vibration.

The only way you will overtake others is through the purposeful creation of Light.
It really is that simple.

Creating Light can be done in a variety of ways. Yoga, martial arts, and mind-body
meditation practices are just some of the many techniques that connect body and
mind with the intention of more Light. It is up to you to find a discipline and
a ritualistic practice, something that you take seriously in order to raise your
vibration and create more Light.

This is also what we do in my personal mentoring and coaching work).

If you've been sitting on the sidelines, now is the time to kick it up a notch!

Sometimes I don't have the sense god gave a goose....... I swear!

Hmmmmmmmmmm, an one might ask 'WHY' does she say that. Geese louise. What an experience? OMG!!!

I decided once again a few weeks ago to go into the trenches. OMG!

I was headed out to California and decided to take the bus. OMG!!!! .......and I wasn't checking Amtrack buses but guess which bus line I checked and came out on? Yep, smart lady that I am, I chose Greyhound...

To begin with, the first stop had a two hour layover. hmmmmm

.........and then, and then, and then, it went down hill from there.

I have to admit that I met the nicest people on my trip BUT, the bus line sucks and is very prejudice. It was apalling how the people I met were treated. There was no respect, nothing. It was horrendous.

The bus had to be from the 50's or 60's and it was attrocious.......... I can only tell you that we need to get some of our folks on these buses. (I think it had to do with there being mostly Mexicans that frequent this bus line.... and I don't say that lightly as there was one leg of the journey that I was probably the only person in a load of 54 or 55 that spoke English and yet the people I dealt with were the moste caring and loving and giving group.)

I have to admit that at every turn, there were NEW buses but 'WE' didn't seem to be worth a new bus. Both buses that I traveled on were broken and OLD. hmmmmmmmm and I swear the feeling I got was the route from LA to the San Joaquin Valley had mostly people of Mexican persuasion. (If you know anything about certain parts of California, for generations Mexicans have been very much in Delano, Visalia, Tulare, yadayadayadayada..........)

At one point we had a black bus driver that got heckled and harassed from ONE YOUNG WHITE man that nearly put me over the edge. He finally said something that I could use against him and I went right in his face and told him straight up if he harassed the driver one more time I would personally call 911 and have him arrested....... HE HAD intimated 'Terrorist' attack and I was so angry with him that I think I may have accidently spit in his face. He was pretty quiet after that except when he was departing the bus and he started making comments again that was directed at me this time. I watched him depart the bus and was so happy I would never have to see him again I let out a sigh of relief.

At one point leaving LA, the bus shut down just on the other side of the grapevine.
We were instructed to turn around and go back to LA if the bus would start, and pick up another bus. We were left waiting for at least another hour and a half before a different bus showed up.

In the mean time the heckler was constantly trying to engage everyone in an uprisin g. It was awful and at one point I took him aside and tried to reason with him only to have him bad mouth the bus driver again.

When we were leaving the terminal the driver got so angry he drove round the corner and walked out of the bus and told us all that he would not take the harassment anymore. He went in and called his boss and as I walked into the terminal I heard him yelling into the phone that he would not take the pressure anymore.

I talked to him and told him he was doing a good job and that I would understand if he walked away. He was almost in tears and I was crushed that we would once again lose against the bad guys.

After I finally talked him into taking us the rest of the way and sat back down, a black kid from the back of the bus walked to the front of the bus and showed his support and understanding.

........anyways to make a short story long, we continued on our way only to have the second bus stop the second time in almost the same place.

NOT once in all of this mess, did any of the rest of the passengers show a bit of anger and continued to support each other in a most loving way. It was amazing and I swear I was the only one on that whole bus that saw this as a big deal.

I had tried 3 or 4 time to use the phones at the terminals to let the people picking me up know that we were running 6 hours late. I finally asked one of my fellow passengers if I could use her cell and she very gratiously let me have it and since I had missplaced my glasses, she and her friend even dialed for me.

In the middle of this whole fiasco, the care shown to one another on that bus made me smile and happy inside.

The heckler finally departed the bus in Fresno, CA and the bus driver was very much at ease after that.

I'll tell you one thing one bad apple can surely ruin the barrel.

The Jefferson City, Missouri based Learfield is one of the nation's largest broadcasters of college sports.

But it also produces news programming heard throughout the farm belt.

Learfield was started 35 years ago by Clyde Lear and Derry Brownfield.

Lear went on to be the chairman of the company. He bought out his friend and partner Brownfield in 1985.

Brownfield went on to do market news reports for the Learfield news division until 1997 or so, when he started broadcasting a daily call-in show called The Common Sense Coalition.

Derry Brownfield would broadcast The Common Sense Coalition from the studios of Learfield Communications.

Learfield would subsidize the program and allow Brownfield to use its studios and satellite hook-up.

Monsanto happens to be a big advertiser of the Learfield news division - to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

Brownfield happens to think that Monsanto is an evil corporation.

Therein lies the rub.

For weeks, Brownfield had been ripping Monsanto on air for its policies of enforcing its seed patents against farmers.

The earner can have an unnatural power and control over other family members as they have their hand on the spigot so to speak, they can turn on or cut off supply. They manipulate with money and eventually other family members learn to manipulate them right back. The earner as well as family members can become increasingly taken over by money and all of the "paraphernalia" that surrounds a life of wealth. Just as the pot smoker becomes dependent on his water pipe, cigarette papers and laid back surroundings, the old "hippie pad", the money addict becomes equally bonded to the trappings of wealth, the cars, big house, clothes, trips, parties, travel, fine educations, elegant surroundings and fancy friends. Money also becomes woven into relationships. The saddest manifestation of this being when I see the earner judging all family members through the lens of money (how much do they make?) rather than through a lens of deeper relationship values and worth. For the person addicted to money, there is no accomplishment that matches the amassing of wealth. Eventually, the money addict can't really distinguish real love from the love he is able to purchase and he loses his ability to "roll with the punches" that any lasting relationship requires. He wants the "punches" to roll with him, to control the messy, sticky parts of live and to smooth out any jutting edges. Unfortunately life can and should be messy at times to allow for growth and change to occur. When the money addict disallows this "messiness" he puts a hamper on personal growth for himself and those around him.

Entropy and Disorder
If you assert that nature tends to take things from order to disorder and give an example or two, then you will get almost universal recognition and assent. It is a part of our common experience. Spend hours cleaning your desk, your basement, your attic, and it seems to spontaneously revert back to disorder and chaos before your eyes. So if you say that entropy is a measure of disorder, and that nature tends toward maximum entropy for any isolated system, then you do have some insight into the ideas of the second law of thermodynamics.

Some care must be taken about how you define "disorder" if you are going to use it to understand entropy. A more precise way to characterize entropy is to say that it is a measure of the "multiplicity" associated with the state of the objects. If a given state can be accomplished in many more ways, then it is more probabable than one which can be accomplished in only a few ways. When "throwing dice", throwing a seven is more probable than a two because you can produce seven in six different ways and there is only one way to produce a two. So seven has a higher multiplicity than a two, and we could say that a seven represents higher "disorder" or higher entropy.
